why camel milk?
I would like you to meet 3 nomadic filmmakers who simply love camels; Alicia, Sebastian and Philippa. Together they formed What Took You So Long and are the inspiration behind 'Camel Milk Me for Brain Tumour Ireland'.
What Took You So Long is a team of documentary filmmakers dedicated to filming unsung heroes and untold stories. While travelling the world, the guys stumbled upon camel milk and were immediately intrigued upon hearing of its fantastic properties and relatively unknown status in the west. From this, they embarked on a journey that took them to over 18 countries, documenting, filming and photographing the world of camel milk.....
I first heard about their work through a good friend of mine Will McQuillan and I have been hooked on the concept since. When Brain Tumour Ireland was set up last year by a good friend of mine, I wanted to raise funds for the charity. However, I wanted to do it through a novel, original campaign that would capture people's attention and be a real challenge for me personally. And then I remembered camel milk.......
